Mike Miller has been working in the
operations side of the commercial property management business
since the early 1980’s starting as a stationary engineer
with Black & Decker MFG, Co and then with the Greater Baltimore
Medical Center. He entered the shopping center industry in 1987
as a building/engineer for Shopco Management Corp, at Cranberry
Mall — now known as The Town Mall of Westminster, in Westminster,
MD — where he was responsible for maintaining the physical
plant and overseeing all tenant construction projects. Mike
advanced to the position of Assistant Director of Operations
before being promoted to the position of Director of Operations
of Eastpoint Mall in Dundalk, MD. He served in that capacity
from 1993 to 2006, first for Shopco Advisory Corp., then for
Jones, Lang and LaSalle Services, Inc., and finally for Thor
Equities. Mike joined Trout, Segall & Doyle Management Co,
Inc. in 2006.
Mike brings with him extensive hands-on experience in meeting
the challenges of maintaining the infrastructures of older properties
while keeping abreast of the latest construction techniques
and maintenance strategies.
