Profile

Arthur (Art) Putzel has been Vice President and Controller of the Trout, Segall & Doyle companies since 1987. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed real estate sales representative. He is involved in all three major aspects of Trout, Segall & Doyle’s business – brokerage, development and management. His development activities focus on conducting project financial analyses and arranging for financing. His brokerage activities are focused on the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Formerly the Deputy Director for Economic Development in Baltimore County, Maryland, Art also spent four years negotiating and administering contracts for a major Baltimore defense contractor.

Affiliations
Art has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, a member of ICSC and is Vice President or Pikesville-Greenspring Community Coalition, Inc.

Education
Art's education includes a B.S. in Economics and a B.S. Urban Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi honoraries); a M.S. Urban Planning from the Johns Hopkins University; and further course work in accounting at Loyola College of Maryland.

Interests
Art's interests include woodworking, home improvement, and reading.
